The first bird eye’s view of Los Angeles I had from the airplane amazed me. When I finally land and start moving by car, bus or by foot, I experience it and I start to be very interested by the whole city organization. Like the song says it ”little boxes all look like the same”. And so I start to build my own suburbs sprawl made out of  11 different cube nets.                                 
Those patterns are made so that everything holds together. I cut, I fold, I glue in order to make the cubes, but the piece of paper never falls apart.
 
J’ai été fascinée par la première vue d’avion de Los Angeles. Une fois sur place, lorsque j’ai commencé à me déplacer, à pied, en bus, en voiture. Je me suis fait une expérience de cette vaste ville et me suis intéressée à sa construction. J’ai  alors commencé à construire ma propre banlieue à base de 11 différents patrons de cubes.                                                            
Ces motifs sont faits de facon à ce que tout se tienne. Je coupe, je plie, je colle pour construire mes cubes, mais la feuille de papier ne tombe jamais en morceaux.
